The ultrasonic flow measurement is based on the phase difference approach. Two sensors are located opposite from each other, alternatively transmitting and receiving ultrasonic signals. With medium flowing there is a phase shift between transmitted and received signals. This phase difference is directly proportional to the flow rate.
As no moving parts are concerned, BAMOFLONIC is mechanically reliable.
It is convenient for liquids electrically conductive or not, such as: demineralized water, liquid cosmetics, bases or acids, as for these applications:
